The Buk is rumbling through the Donetsk region. A phone call between two rebel fighters suggests that the Buk has arrived in Donetsk with a crew. (Ukrainian intelligence services intercept the call and later makes it public.) Investigators will later determine that troops from Russia's 53rd Air Defense Brigade brought this particular Buk from Kursk in Russia into Ukraine a few weeks earlier.
